What's the best way to split a model into parts? If I take some parts in Med and copy / paste them in a new model, it looses its skin..

its pretty easy if you are using 3dgs. you can actually highlight that specific part of the model and import the skin you used for it, and the right skin will appy to it. it is possible to have multiple skins at once.
